I'm a video editor based in Sioux Falls, SD. For me, a story doesn't fully come alive until the edit — that's where footage, music, and sound come together to make an audience actually feel something.
My process is deliberate: I start by finding a project's theme, then build every decision — pacing, color, sound — around it. I'm the kind of person who'll fine-tune a cut down to a single frame until it feels right. That attention to detail comes from 8 years of experience across music videos, documentaries, weddings, and branded content, sharpened by an Associate's degree in Digital Media Production from Southeast Technical College and daily work in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop. Alongside that, I also take on graphic design work when it fits a project — from posters and brand logos to scroll-stopping thumbnails.
When I'm not editing, I'm usually still thinking about it — movies are basically a daily habit for me, and I'm constantly digging into new visual and sound techniques to bring back into my own work. When I need a break from screens, you'll probably find me on a golf course, still very much a work in progress.
